George Bush, Dick Cheney and their administration have committed high crimes and misdemeanors against the people of The United States and they must be held accountable. John Conyers of Detroit is the man who can lead the charge.

House Judiciary Chairman and Detroit Representative John Conyers has the power to place impeachment on his committee's agenda. The Honorable Congressman literally wrote the book on the impeachment of Cheney and Bush - The Constitution in Crisis: The High Crimes of the Bush Administration and a Blueprint for Impeachment by John Conyers and Elizabeth Holtzman. Through this and other efforts, Conyers was an early champion of the cause. He has backpedaled since his reelection in November, often sending mixed signals about whether he is in favor or against bringing these criminals to justice.

Through its city council, Detroit has become the largest US city to pass a resolution urging the US House of Representatives to Impeach Now. Detroit activists also led a sit-in and demonstration at Conyers' district offices in solidarity with a July 23 sit-in at the Congressman's Washington D.C. offices. The people of Detroit have spoken, and Detroit demands impeachment.

Activists in the Motor City want to send a clear message about where we stand by placing a billboard in Conyers' district urging him to Impeach Now! Once we meet the goal of raising $5000, the billboard will be installed in the heart of Detroit's Cultural Center. Please help us raise these funds by donating, distributing the information below to your lists and posting banners or links on your websites.

On Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Johanson Charles Gallery in Detroit's Eastern Market, artists and activists will hold a benefit called Change::The Music to raise money for the billboard and for organizations like World Can't Wait, A-28 and MIImpeach.org in an effort to step up the fight to hold Bush and Cheney accountable for their crimes. It will include artists of many different disciplines (visual artists, musicians, emcees, poet, dancers, etc.) and activists joining together to build the path of change. Bands will perform, poets will read, activists will speak and organizations will mobilize.

THE IRAQ WAR & GAS PRICES

My name is NORMAN ROBERTO "Robby" LINDO! I am hereby writing this comment for each American Citizen who's paying taxes beware that, no matter what, we should not support any Presidential Candidate whether it's Republican or Democrat until they tell us exactly what they are going to do for this country as a whole and what they plan to do for our families! It's extrmeley deplorable that each and every Congressman, Congresswoman, and Senators who, in my opinion are receiving at least $100,000 every three months from these oil companies, and this is the reason why, they are not talking about putting a stop to this parade of oil executives who are continuing to raise gas prices on a daily basis by every twelfth hour of the day, because just yesterday May 22, 2007 gasoline was $3.09, and today May 23, 2007 gasoline is now $3.18 a gallon. This means by next week this same time we should be paying on or about $3.94 a gallon which is ridiculous. If President Hugo Chavez who hates President Bush can have it's citizens of Venezuela pay only 12 cents a gallon for gasoline, and they do not have the resources that we have, because people in that country are still suffering on a daily basis, but still yet they can enjoy to drive for miles, and miles and take their loved ones to the beach daily, but thise Memorial Day Weekend we are going to have to stay home, and probably barbecue chicken feet or just pork sausage, because even the beef and beef sausage is costing a wash pan (plenty) of money. But I can imagine that each Member of Congress and the Senate will be travelling to nice and luxurious places with their families.

It's time that the Congress and Senate force President Bush and his former Governor Brother of Florida two daughters each to join the United States Armed Forces and have them trained and be deployed just like each and everyone of our son's and daughters and to have them deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq immediately in harms way just as our son's and daughter's are deployed on a daily basis, and this way, I am 1,000% pretty sure that Bush would come to his senses and stop the war in less than 90 days from the date that he's pressured by the Congress and Senate. It's time that we American's take back over this country and dictate to Congress and the Senate exactly in what directions that this country should go, and if we have to bring Bush and Chenney to be Impeached, so be it, because they impeached Presdident Clinton, who did not have any American Citizen's son and daughters died like we have these two clowns on Capitol Hill having our daughters and son's killed on a daily basis since the start of the so called ghost war of weapons of mass destruction in 2003 until present.

My dear fellow american citizens friends all around the nation, I urge you to take a stand and continue to write and call your Congressman, Congresswoman, and Senators to have this President Bush to stop the suffering of the American People by this rdiculous daily gasoline increase and to stop this war now! Otherwise we should demands from now that anyone who's seeking the Presidency of the United States of America have to swear and live up to their true meaning of Patriotism or else, we are not going to tolerate and voe them into office, or else we just vote someone else of lower interest who probably may end up to be the right person for the job, and even if they are not popular, I am pretty sure, more than 250 million people praying daily for that person in office, that GOD ALMIGHTY will give them the wisdom, knowledge and the right moves to do right by this country and it's citizens. MAY GOD HELP US AS WE TRY VEHEMENTLY TO HELP OURSELVES, BECAUSE THE TERRORIST ARE MOVING RIGHT INTO OUR BACKYARD THROUGH THE OWNERS OF THESE SO CALLED GASOLINE STATIONS SUCH AS MOBILE, EXXON, CHEVRONS, BECAUSE THEY ARE ONE'S WHO'S SUPPORTING ALL THESE DIFFERENT TERRORIST GROUPS ALL OVER THE FREE WORLD!
