I saw your appearance on CCTV9 International tv. Also, I saw the Nightly News on 8/22/08. To say that I am disappointed on both occassions is a gross understatement, because you were superficial on CCTV, and your highlighting only the western journalist on the nightly News was jingoistic.

I suppose that I was looking for more in depth reporting on the Nightly News, as you indicated you would do on CCTV. You, the western media, are now second rate to CCTV, as far as, detailed reporting is concerned. Until I began watching CCTV, I had nothing to compare you and the western media against. Every time that I watch you and the western media format on the national media, I cringe. The western media must do a better job.
