It's about time Congress stood up for our Civil Rights. After 4 1/2 years Congress has the nerve to start Impeachment Hearings? We all know Bush will be long gone before the ink is dry. The Speaker of the House should be also gone. She rubbed his lies in our face. We've had over 4,000 Soldiers die because of the "Lies" Nancy has blood on her hands for not allowing impeachment hearings when it really mattered. Congress needs another shake-up. We need a lot of third party candidates "Independants" that's the only way we will change politics as usual. Anyone have a better idea how to get Congress to listen to us? They've hid behind our Soldiers,thats how they gave into Bush's "Outragious" spending. Congress wrote the check and they have nobody to blame for the debt we now have. By the way Congress,thanks for the $4.00 gasoline. Al Gore told everyone 20 years ago how we should of started alternatives to oil,that might of cost Congress a few votes. I will cost them one myself. I will be voting 3rd party.

Impeachment off the table.
Not enough has been made of the fact that Speaker Pelosi, even before she was elected Speaker, amended the U.S. Constitution without authority and with the support of most of her Congressional colleagues. By stating that "Impeachment is off the table" she took the position that a remedy for a despotic Executive which is specifically mentioned six times in the Constitution, could no longer be used. Had Speaker Pelosi stated that the First Amendment was "off the table" and free speech rights could no longer be used would this also be of little concern to our Congressmen?
This violation of her oath of office to "protect and defend" the Constitution should no longer be tolerated by members of the Congress. Their first obligation is to put H. Res. 799 on the table and proceed with an impeachment investigation.

Off the table, come on really. Even W doesn't take options off the table. We need to get rid of her as soon as we can.
Clearly Pelosi and Reid have failed to represent our interests. They are nothing but Democratic canards and Bush's secret puppets. How can congress's approval rating be lower than Bush's? Because they won't stand up for us. It simply inconceivable and a pathetic waste that they have been unable to really hold Bush accountable.
We need to start a Kucinich for Speaker petition.
